 Comedy Central Presents 2!
« Thread Started on Jul 25, 2007, 1:26pm »

That's right kids, Stephen is going to record a follow-up to his often repeated 2000 episode of Comedy Central Presents. It will be recorded on Thursday, August 23rd in New York City and should air some time in early 2008.

I'll post ticket info soon and airdate when I get it, so no need to post "How can I get tickets" or "When will it air."

Enjoy!

Speaking of, I really think this whole thing should be pushed back a week or two so it happens while I'm at school. As Cara knows, it's so much easier for me to get to NYC when I'm not at home. ;)

hey, does anyone know any more info about CCP, like what venue its at, or would stephen play a full concert, and they would just put a half hour on tv, or would he only play a half hour?

Stephen will perform for about 30 minutes or so and that will be edited into the 22-minute special (which is a half-hour with commercials, credits, etc.). There will be 2 comedians that night and you will need to sit through both tapings. Here's the general ticket link which will be updated in a few days so that you can request tickets for a specific show (i.e. Stephen's!).

I hope you don't mind if I ask a stupid question, because I'm about to.

The link says the address for the theatre is 145 West 44th Street. Is that right? Because I'm trying to look up the directions, and I can't get a hit for "Hudson Theater" and 145 West 44th St. Naamsayin?

That's the address. It's part of the Millenium Hotel. More info at:

Omg! That's where we stayed when we went to see Wedding Singer. We got the room for free from a friend of my brother's in-laws -- no way we could have afforded it otherwise. I knew it was high class when we got there and had to wait for Mariah Carey's band to clear out before the bellhop could take our bags and tell us where to park.

I'm sure there's no dress code for Lynch's show, but yeah...I felt a little touristy and under-dressed.

Keith will be starting blackjack dealer school starting the 20th (provided he passes his piss test on the 17th), and therefore, he will not be able to attend the show.

I am deeply saddened.

So...I just read the e-mail...tickets are FREE?!?!! *&#@&^%!!!!

Of course, it wouldn't matter anyway, but just the fact that I'm missing out on it, and now I'm missing out and it wouldn't have even cost anything....gah, stupid back-to-school craziness. I could have probably swung it otherwise.

Maybe so, but when you live in the middle of nowhere, this is unfortunately not common knowledge.

The only thing that taped near us was "Girls Gone Wild" about 30-40 mins. away on Friday night. And even still it was like "why are they coming here?"

(No, I did not go to the Girls Gone Wild taping. They could only hope to be so lucky. ;) )

I got me and my girl a set of "tickets" for this. I'm excited as hell - been wanting to see him do his thing for years, and though I know this is gonna be watered down a bit, edited some, I'm still excited.

I guess 4 Wedding Singer performances just didn't do it for me...Not that it wasn't fabulous, but c'mon. I need my lynch!
