Stephen also just taped "I Love the 80's Strikes Back" but he won't know what's going to air and on which years until he watches it on TV just like you. Of course, he could end up on the cutting room floor (or in the trash in this digital age).

I think that is so stupid! You make people spend their time recording things for shows-whether they are acting as a character, or being themselves-and they just edit stuff out. I mean I understand sometimes things dont always sound/look good, but If I took the time to do something and it didn't even air, I would be pissed. You know what ellse bugs me- 30 minute tv shows! With comercials the total air time is really only about 15 minutes at the most! Lol. Grrr that makes me mad.
