I agree with the person above and below me... oO; Ok, thats a little strange.
*Rocks out to Kill a Kitten* They have so many differences, but each artist(Comedian isn't good enough!) is "special", no pun intended. But here are my points on each:
Carlin: He has a style that older people understand, and you know he's been around the block once or twice. But he will never appeal to kids my age. Too scary.
Sandler: He's good for the kids, but will he really appeal to older people? Yea, he's funny, but most of the things he says are just stupid. (Personally, I like the Lunch Lady song...)
Rock: Now, I like this guy. Rather funny, but I'm just strange. Even kids my age, and people my father's age like Chris. Racial stats though... Some people are just like that.
Lynch: WOO!! Everyone I know likes Stephen. Not one person has disliked what he says. Though, back to my point on age, some kids don't understand what he says, but they LOVE the SuperHero song.
Now, coming from me, this is probably stupid, since I have no where to talk for the adults, 'cause I'm still a kid in everyones eyes.
There are just my opinions... I still love them all...

but seriously, is he funnier than adam sandler? definately
will he ever be as popular? probably not, mainly cause sandler's famous for snl and his movies, not so much on his singing. im sure if stephen lynch got more tv spots, started hittin up all the talk shows to perform, or get another cc special, then hed be up there in popularity.

Why doesn't anyone just get down to the point. It's about exposure. Being featured on comedy central is helping out ALOT from how many strangers I know have actually heard of him in the last three years. He's not any worse than the guys that you already know but he's getting up there in ranks. I'm sure in the next two years he'll pop further into maintream. 2002-2003 was a big comming out with the tour and ComedyCentral. He sold out the local club here in the spring. things just take time.

Are you all worried that he WILL get more famous than AS or are you worried that he WON'T get more famous?
Because if he gets as famous, guess what? He might do the AS thing and not do stand-up anymore. Then where would we all get our live Stephen Lynch fix?

Are you all worried that he WILL get more famous than AS or are you worried that he WON'T get more famous? oh i don't want him to get more famous. i mean, i wish him success and all, but i don't want him to become all stuck up and better than everyone, and he will if he gets to be too big, even if he doesn't know it when it happens. there won't be any "hey i saw you at the last show" or "hey you got the cast off" or "yeah i remember you said your cat was admitted to the vet's. so did she have a smooth recovery from the hysterectomy?" or "yeah i remember those titties. didn't you e-mail them to me?" we'll all just be faces in the crowd.  |

I was hang out with some of my friends and decided to let then listen to superhero. well I turned it on and my friend mark started freaking out like we were lisening to satin music. Well some people can't listen to Stephens stuff. but maybe if stephen made a music video? I don't really think adam sandlar is that funny he is pretty dumb. Stephen is funny, talented, ( )georgeous( ), and has the motivation. and if that is not good enough to make it in the entertainment then I have no chance. really I think that Steven is going to be more famous it is just a matter of time.

Best wishes to Lynch. if he makes it HUGE, then good for him, he really deserves it. and if not..... well .. at least he'll always have us.....
ha what a thought...... we're the ones who spend soo much time on this site and at his shows... he'll always have US!!!! hooray!!! whatever will be, will be. but 'good luck' to him.
(hmmmm did that make any sense??? o well im kinda tired.. forgive me if i was just rambling..)
