Ok, this time I'm not asking WHY did he take it out. But I do want opinions. What did you think of the following lines in "Talk To Me" and do you think he should keep them or not?
"...you've never taken a whack at ... between your legs"
Something like that. Maybe someone can fill in the blanks.

Ohmigawd people!
I just found out what Cara wrote that got deleted by the mod. It was the missing lyrics! What is up with that? How can 'they' censor the stuff that the man, whose message board this is ostensibly for, wrote himself?
Will this post be deleted?

WOW. calm down, will ya? of course that post won't get deleted, have you been on this board? If so You would notice that lyrics and cuss words aren't allowed. that's it. there are a lot of other big battles out there for you to choose. Like someone else said, what about issues that REALLY MATTER. if you really want to get risque, you can look up www.norml.org and get pissed off, (and hopefully start a big fight to help legalize marijuana) or pick a cause linked to something that matters. but really, this complaining is getting annoying. I can't wait for this little Lord Of The Flies episode to wear off and for the kids to stop complaining about a few cusswords that aren't allowed (b/c the right to use them was abused) and lyrics getting deleted. we all know we can't post lyrics, even "StephensLynchMob" just deal with the rules and move on, they aren't harming you - neither is the fact that you gotta buy the freakin' cd to get the lyrics. sheesh. go yankees!!!!!!!! |

And the only reason I asked for the blanks to be filled in was so others knew exactly what line I was talking about. But now the thread has turned into a censhorship debate and I still dont have opinions on what you all thought about that line vs. the new one? I think he should have kept them both. |
