Come on people. Help out. On Comedy Central you can vote numerous times. Keep it up on your desktop at work and vote as much as you can. Don't let these losers (quite a few in the top 20) look like they are all better than him by voting for themselves. And cheating. Tonight some jumped two hundred points in an hour and they aren't Lewis Black caliber either. The more he's on TV, more chance he'll get into a good movie, then there will be no stoppin' him. He just needs more exposure.

Bo Burnham's at number one... That tells you how (in)credible this competition is.

Bo Burnham's at number one... That tells you how (in)credible this competition is. Who the hell is Bo Burnham anyway? And now it's Tammy Pescatelli...weird. Anyway, for some reason I got in this really huge "I need to vote for Lynch" kick today. His lowest point today was #19, now he's solidly number 15. At least it's a start. The only bad part is I can't vote constantly every day (I doubt I can code it as working time...) The main thing is Lynch's fans need to be engaged more. There's a sign-up for a street team that never gets used and his social networking sites aren't being leveraged effectively. There's also the problem of Comedy Central always giving him crappy timeslots for his specials. During the Showdown he's been played at like 3 am...have his specials even been on yet during the competition? I'm rambling now...but I do agree people can help out, and it can make a difference (today proves that) but the few of us can only do so much.

Since I have no life and I love him so much, I voted for him ALL day yesterday and the day before, by both phone and computer. I'm not kidding. If my friends can waste time playing WoW, I can waste time by voting for Stephen Lynch. Yesterday I checked how many texts I've sent, and it totaled 4,000 (I'd count maybe 800 of those as being non-vote related.) I didn't count how many I sent through the site, but I know it was quite a bit. I took bathroom and smoke breaks. If we can keep it up, he could be at least in the top 10 by the time it's over. I'd say I'm an "engaged" fan. Unfortunately, I can't vote through text today because it says I reached the maximum number. DAMN!!!!! I'll be sitting at the computer all day today. As a side note, I don't mean to offend World of Warcraft players. Just trying to prove a point.
