Saw Stephen on Comedy Central and got hooked on his act, total genius. Finally found "Superhero" for sale at a Circuit City. Guess I'll have to buy "A Little Bit Special" through the web. Anyway, was kinda shocked to find an actual message board while looking through this site trying to see if he would have a live show around my area (Salisbury, MD). Maybe he'll do Ocean City one night. Anyway, what's this board all about by the way? I mean, who is who here? Is it a group of fans only or is it some of Stephen's friends/employees (ers) that run this message board? Just curious is all. I've just been a fan for about 2 weeks, but all my friends know about him now, I can assure you.  By the way, hello! |

The message board was started by the same lady that manages What Are Records? msg. boards, so it by someone that works for his label.
Mostly fans, post and a few friends...
It looks like he might do a show in the Balt. MD area... well worth the drive to see him... ( and I would know about drives.. went twelve hours to Maine to see him)
And at the last tour he played Annapolis and Balt. ( for pictures of annapolis or any of my other shows check out http://www.lynch-mob.net)
And yes you should get A little bit special, it really good...

hi Stratus, there are lots of us here from all different backgrounds and age ranges. I'm a grad student. I've seen posts from kids and adults alike. A nice variety and since the board is relatively new, it's fun to participate and watch how it grows and develops. Who knows, maybe I'll use it in my dissertation  There is a cool thread titled "my first experience with stephen" where ppl discuss how they first learned about him, as well as a ton of threads about his products, favorite moments/ songs etc....and there are all kinds of various discussions of other topics in the "non-lynch area/ general board" place. there are also many threads/ posts with various links to Stephen Lynch stuff, like the pages you can send to a friend that have his music. one i can remember off the top of my head is: www.WhatAreRecords.com/sl/bestfriends or there's the xm one www.WhatAreRecords.com/sl/xmsmilethere are others, I am pretty sure the links are on his site, or maybe someone can post them?!  we are all very....speshul. and there are some funny ppl who post here. good sick and twisted people. my favorite kind. Know what Makes me sad/mad/have to potty? I was looking at the tour history and Stephen played at the school i am going to (And that my brother and friends attend) about 12 days before my birthday this year. So sad....  . And it doesnt look like he is in the IL area all that often... I even know where the club is. |
