Yo, check this out: www.stephenlynch.com/tourhistory.htmlHe's played IA, IL, IN, WI, MN, etc. numerous times over the past year or 2. He's played like 10 dates in Illinois alone (IL Inst. of Tech; Augustana (x2); Bradley; Wesleyan; McKendree; Zanie's, Urbana, etc.). Get over it!

everyone is so nice here... yeah, i see that he has toured illinois, but keep in mind that most of the places were 21 or 18+ or college shows... plus there were shows i could go to but my parents wouldnt let me .... the purpose of my thread was to see if this had ever happened to anyone else.... geez... sorry if i annoyed anyone.

Most college shows are open to the public, or so I thought. I'm going to see Dane Cook next month at Western Michigan University, and I surely don't go there.

very true.... but some of those college shows are a pretty hefty drive away.... especially when your car doesnt work too well....

True, but that's what carpooling is for silly. I'm making the 2 1/2 hour drive to Kalamazoo Michigan to see him. Unfortunately I can't afford to go see Stephen this month, maybe next time around. *sighs*

I was barely able to scrape up the $15 to see Dane, after paying car insurance, getting stuff for school, and buying a new computer (which I really needed, badly). And now I have to save up enough to get a hotel room for the night cause I'm not driving that far at 1am after the show.

I hope it is too, it's in October...I'm just not looking forward to the 3 hour drive, but I'll suffer through it, anything for Dane.
